2023 SUMMER CAMP DETAILS

Our camp program is offered for nine weeks starting on June 26th and ending on August 25th. Families must register for a minimum of six weeks; weeks do not need to be consecutive.

There are four different registration plans you can choose from (A, B, C, and D) ranging from the hours of 7:30 am – 6:30 pm (please see the parent letter).  Camp is available for children ages 4 years old through 8th grade.  (Age is determined by your child’s age as of July 1, 2023 and grade is determined by the grade your child will be entering in September 2023.)  If a child is 4 years old by July 1st, 2023, he/she is eligible to enroll provided they are toilet trained.  No child may attend unless they are toilet trained.

Early Bird Registration Dates:   until 5/14/23.
$200 NON REFUNDABLE Deposit per camper at the time of registration.  Deposit will be deducted from your total purchase.  Must be paid in full by May 14, 2023.  If not, the Early Bird Rate is forfeited and the Regular Registration Rate applies.

Regular Registration Dates:   5/15/23 -  5/31/23
Must be paid in full by May 31, 2023.  If not, the Regular Rate is forfeited and the Late Registration Rate applies.
Late Registration Dates:    6/1/23 – 6/16/23 or until camp has reached maximum capacity

Monday–Friday 5:30pm -7:30pm & Saturday mornings, with a minimum of $200 non-refundable deposit.

Fees for Late Registration must be paid in full prior to a camper entering camp.

PLANS:
Plan A:  9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Plan B:  7:30 AM to 6:30 PM
Plan C:  7:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Plan D:  9:00 AM to 6:30 PM

 
Minimum number of weeks that a family can choose is 6.

 
Parent Orientation Meeting is Saturday June 10th. The orientation is from 10am to 11am at the Vermeule Community Center. The orientation is for registered families ONLY.

Fun Fridays:

  • Every other Friday we bring in a different guest / entertainer. (i.e. a magician, reptiles,  bubble soccer, etc.)
  • This is included in the overall fee - not at an additional cost

Trips:

  • ALL trips are at an additional cost
  • Trips are not mandatory. If your child does not participate, a regular day of camp is still held at the Vermeule Community Center with the other children who are not on the trip.
  • Every Tuesday we go to the Warrenbrook Pool on Warrenville Road (Cost: TBD)
  • Every Thursday we go on a trip somewhere else. (i.e. the zoo, skyzone, an aquarium, roller skating, mini golf, iPlay America, etc.)

Food:

  • You provide all food
  • Morning Snack - around 10am
  • Lunch - around 12:15pm
  • Afternoon Snack - 2:45pm (Only for those who stay after 3pm)
  • There is no refrigerator or microwave. Please pack lunch in an insulated lunch box. All food is stored inside the Vermeule Center.
  • Please send a water bottle every day. We have an ice machine and water fountains / bottle filler.
  • There will be a meal option for lunch from 30 Burgers & Mike's Subs. (i.e chicken tenders, grilled cheese, Italian sub, kids cheeseburger, etc.) (Choices and prices are TBD)
