Summer Camp

2024 Summer Camp Details 

Our camp program is offered from a minimum of 6 weeks to a maximum of 9 weeks starting Monday June 24th, and ending Friday August 23rd.

We have a four-tier registration program (see parent letter) for children 4 years old through 8th grade. (Age is determined by your child’s age as of July 1, 2024 and grade is determined by the grade your child will be entering in September 2024.)  If a child is 4 years old by July 1st, 2024, he/she is eligible to enroll provided they are toilet trained.  No child may attend unless they are toilet trained.

 

Summer Camp Registration:
  • Registration opens on Saturday 2/10 at the Vermeule Community Center from 9am-12pm.
  • Registration after 2/10 is by appointment only, you can email jdejesso@northplainfieldnj.gov to schedule an appointment.
Applications for Summer Camp 2024:
Early Bird Special Rates:
  • Available from 2/10 - 5/14
  • To receive early bird special rates all registration fees must be paid in full by 5/14
Regular Registration Rates:
  • Available from 5/15 - 5/31
Late Registration Rates:
  • Available from 6/1 - 6/16
Payments:
  • All payments must be in the form if cash, check or money order.
  • Credit cards are not accepted.
Summer Camp Details:
  • Campers may not start until registration is paid in FULL.
  • Download registration forms and drop them off at our Rec office by APPOINTMENT ONLY.
  • Non North Plainfield residents add extra $200 fee.
  • NO Registration will be taken after 6/16.
  • NO Registration will be Pro-Rated.
  • NO Refunds will be given.
